Vidor CN441 'Lady Elizabeth'
Vidor never really departed from their tried and trusted formula when it came to the ladies handbag portable. 'Modernisation' meant only the use of ferrite rod aerials (instead of wire coils hidden in the lid) and printed circuit boards instead of point-to-point wiring. The circuit was of an orthodox design and featured the ubiquitous lid-operated on/off switch. Construction costs, however, must have been squeezed by this time as the build quality is beginning to suffer (when compared to just a few years prior).
